3AM and the house is sleeping

People should totally go and read this article on Grist - it’s similar to what I wrote here except less truthy and more facty. Speaking of which, Stephen Colbert is the bomb. He’s one of those people who you have to watch a couple of times before you really begin to appreciate their brilliance. In some ways that’s part of what makes him so good. He’s just an incredible actor, and does he ever chew up the fucking scenery with his rôle on that show. I also really appreciate the fact that he’s out and he’s proud about his D&D geekiness.

In other news, I went to the movl meetup on Tuesday, and had a bunch of really great conversations with some really interesting people there. And then got randomly flashed by some dude with permanant marker all over himself, it was kind of weird. But anyway, the meetup was really fun, I’m looking forward to the next one.

Oh, and I’m doing some show on Sunday, some kind of charity cabaret thing - I’ll post the details when I get them.
